General Purpose Milling Machine

The YZ-R Series is a general-purpose milling machine suitable for individual workpieces as well as small quantity batches. The YZ-R Series allows manual Z-axis operation and NC-controlled X and Y-axis. Manual control of the Z-axis allows for the user to control, when necessary, the vertical cutting feed and depth while the machine operates complex X/Y axis operations.

Advantages of NC-controlled operations on X/Y axis while maintaining manual Z-axis control:

On general-purpose machines, manual arc or oblique cutting precise positioning is not possible, so these operations are better relegated to a NC control, but you can still maintain depth cutting control for processes such as visual rectification or depth gauging. Each capability should be allocated accordingly to each of the control's and operator's strengths; the YZ-R creates the ideal relationship between human and machine.
