SPEEDIO U500Xd1 Universal Compact Machining Center

The U500Xd1 Series of compact universal machining centers promotes the integration of machining, milling, drilling and tapping processes on multiple faces of the part thanks to the integration of the tilting rotary table that provides 2 extra axes of movement with a capacity of 500mm of diameter for jigs, which combined with capacity for up to 28 tools allows machining on all visible faces of the workpieces, giving it superior performance to the rest of conventional #30 machines. Plus, the U500Xd1 Series' minimal footprint allows you to save space on your shop floor without sacrificing the variety of jobs you can do.

The U500Xd1 series provides great flexibility and a wide range of machining possibilities: automotive, aerospace, medical, industrial, etc. either in steel, titanium or aluminum.

The rotary table has a high torque capacity of up to 610Nm on the A axis and 500Nm on the C axis, which allows it to withstand jig and heavy cutting loads, improving its efficiency.

The direct integration of the 2-axis rotary table reduces the profile of the U500Xd1, allowing the front profile to be reduced to 1560mm, allowing you to take advantage of much more space in your work area. Furthermore, the U500Xd1 shares all the advantages of the rest of the SPEEDIO line such as:

  • - Simultaneous movement of axes, which together with the Non-Stop ATC tool change system, improves machining time compared to other solutions.
  • - High performance (40Nm/18.9kW/10,000min-1), axis acceleration (2.2G/56m/min), quick tool change (1.3sec), spindle start (0.15sec)
  • - Internal tool coolant (CTS) at 7Mpa

  • New touch screen interface with quick access to relevant functions with improved visibility and useful on-screen accessories (notes, calculator, file viewer, etc).
  • Machine adjustment screen (setup), ATC adjustment, NC programs, performance graphs, real-time monitoring of production, energy consumption, etc.
  • New maintenance and failure prevention tools, alarm log, and visual recovery and review guides.
  • ATC monitoring tools (presence, grip failure, position deviation, etc. - no external sensors needed.
  • Overload monitoring and prediction, visual alarm log, maintenance notices.
