N Series CNC Machining Centers

The HORKOS "No Bed" N-Series is a innovative new CNC design that minimizes the effect of thermal deflection while still offering high rigidity for excellent machining accuracy, yet maintaining a small with profile since all its axis are closely positioned and separated from the working area, also reducing the effects of the coolant and chips on the mechanism.

- N-Series may be fitted with new models of NC rotary tables that combines both the horizontal and vertical CNC qualities (multiple face machining, chip discharge / ease of control and operation) while still achieving high precision and productivity thanks to a new direct drive rotary table system (DD-320) or a jig-compatible high speed and torque rotary base table (TTN-400).
- The N-Series NJ-50DUO model is a dual spindle model that can be used to improve the process speed of complex pieces by slightly incresing its front face dimension, yet providing a notable reduction in process time by doubling the machining capacity of the unit that would normaly require 2 regular NJ-50's. 2 NJ-50's front dimensions is about 2700mm, while a single DUO unit takes 1590mm.
- The N-Series NS-70 Ver. L model further enhances the unit's machining capabilities by integrating a 3000(min-1)] lathe C-axis [300Nm @500 min-1 max]. This helps to substitute one lathe position further improving the space-saving capabilites of the N-series.
-  The NJ35 5AX model increases the productivity of a single station within small parts machining thanks to the implementation of 5 simultaneous axes, with the axis of rotation at the center of the part, minimizing the error due to orientation.

Also, all models may include the HORKOS exclusive iMQL High Speed Drilling coolant-through semi-dry minimal lubricating system.

iMQL SEMI DRY MINIMAL LUBRICATING SYSTEM

Designed to be as compact as possible to balance perfomance and rigidity, the iMQL system enhances the machine performance and energy saving capabilities and reducing its ecological footprint.

SIMPLE STRUCTURE HIGH SPEED ATC

Fitted with a high speed servo drive, the unit employs a direct spindle change mechanism with the ATC which is also separated from the machining area, preventing chips and coolant from entering the ATC area and polluting the tool holders.

EASY MAINTENANCE

All the maintenance procedures may be performed either from the front or the back ot the unit, further providing to the machine's minimized space requirements.
