TOOLING SYSTEMS Machining Holders

YUKIWA's Tooling System line-up provides all the tool holding solutions necessary to satisfy any and all your machining processes' requirements. Milling, cutting, tapping, boring, roughing, finishing. Several chucking options allow you to select the best one suited for your work. All shank configurations, all sizes.

- Hybrid G1 Chucks:

High speed and high precision machining with a guaranteed integrated runout accuracy of 3μm.

A combination of a highly stable inside locknut system (same as the Super G1 Chuck) minimizes the runout to a 3μm accuracy is guaranteed with standard Super G1 Chuck with a collet.

Hybrid G1 Chucks' collet holder system provides the same or better runout accuracy as that of the shrink-fit holders without specialized equipment. Usable up to 50,000min-1 thanks to a minimized aerodynamic noise and fluid dispersion. YUKIWA guarantees accuracy at the point of 4d distance when compared to others manufacturers.


- Drill/Mill Chucks:

Superior heat-treatment and precision-machining and surface grinding, while utilizing selected materials allow high speeds and excellent balance machining with a 1mm gripping range per one collet. 

Thicker hole walls provide higher rigidity and less runout deviation, along with the APM type length adjustment screw which prevents tool inclination. Thanks to a double taper on our drill mill collet and using our lock-nut steel balls technology, the tool gripping length can be longer than that of the single taper collet, thus making the gripping torque much stronger.

The tool's flat design and shorter projection improve work accessibility.  You can use a high-pressure coolant at up to 7.0MPa(70kg/cm²). 

Our drill mill chucks are often used also as tap holders for high-speed and precision tapping machining centers, having a synchronizing spindle rotation and feeding mechanism (check the catalog for tap compatibility).


- TQC, TQN Holder:

Outstanding High-Precision and High-Rigidity Tooling for special purpose machines; Quick-Change system with a taper and flat surface Duplex-Holding. 

The press contact of the flat surfaces of the spindle and the chuck is directed by the taper contacting, bringing excellent runout accuracy, boring precision, and tool-changing repeatability, while minimizing machining waviness and thus enabling heavy-duty cutting.

Short and tapered shanks allow tool-changing even in a very limited space, and the chuck's locking to the spindle is secured by the eccentric pin and the steel balls, ensuring the locking even at an emergency stoppage, also on of both CW and CCW rotations at tapping work.


- HSK Duplex-Holding Toolholder:

Rigidity, Precision, High-Pressure Coolant for light and short HSK shanks. 

- HSK Hybrid G1 Chuck: Guaranteed 3μm integrated runout accuracy. Higher precision than shrink-fit chucks and are usable up to 50,000min-1.

- HSK Super G1 Chuck: Guaranteed 5μm integrated runout accuracy. Strong Gripping Force thanks to a double-tapper collet system. Superb balance and high-pressure coolant capable 7.0 MPa (70kg/cm3).

- HSK Drill/Mill Chuck: 1mm compacting per collet. High rigidity and accuracy. Superb balance and high-pressure coolant capable 7.0 MPa (70kg/cm3).


- Pencil Mill Precision Chucks:

Ultra-High Precision Chucking Systems for Small Diameter End-Mills. 

Specially developed for delicate, high precision milling where small tools may easily break while maintaining a high runout precision of 8μ, thanks to a drawback collet which guarantees accuracy at 25mm from the holder's head. This chuck allows cutting speeds up to 20,0000min-1. The Pencil Mill Chuck slim head design prevents collisions.

The conventional method to chuck the tool by the drawback type collet will also cause collet twisting, deteriorating the accuracy. The pencil mill chuck draws the collet straight in without twisting it, keep the accuracy stable.

Also, a super-precision type (special) that allows runout of 5μ at 25mm from the holder's head is available (collet is previously set).


- Keyless (Dream) Chucks:

Simple and easy to use these are perfect partners for general drilling and tapping on milling machines. 

- Super Keyless Dream Chucks: compact, can work on reverse rotation at the same torque, up to M16 tapping, safe tightening with spanners, integrated chuck and shank, usable on non-spindle-locking machines.

- CNC Keyless Drill Chucks: integrated shank and chuck, compact, runout less than 0.05mm, tapered shanks available.,


- Tapping Holders:

Outstanding performance and endurance thanks to a Double Roller clutch mechanism.

Conventional ball clutch mechanisms create frictional contact of the steel ball to the clutch, this causes abrasion to the clutch and make the torque readjustment necessary after 10,000 or 20,000 clutching cycles. YUKIWA's Double Roller clutch mechanism will not need readjustment even after 250,000 clutching cycles.

The Double Roller's computer calculated spring adjustment is matched to tap-size for perfect spring arrangements, and the pitch error between tap threads and feeding is compensated by the built-in float (tension/compression) mechanism, assuring precise tapping.


- Arbor Chucks and Collets:
